problem

I can attest to the durability of acrylic paints in outdoor locations.
My wife painted a mural on a block building here in West Michigan. It
survived for a number of years with no apparent fading or weathering.
Alas, the building burned and the mural succombed to the wrecking ball.
I imagine that glazed tile would fare no better under tthat kind of
assault ;^)

I have also seen soft glazes that would be no more permanent than the
acrylic paint on a proper ground. That said, if I were going to offer
ceramic tile murals for sale, I would definitely develop the skills
necessary to render them in glaze. You might find that you are better
off painting the mural directly on the wall if it is to be a permanent
installation.
