Well i just poured 15 yards of concrete today for my new Gallery. I am
enclosing the other side of my studio. Its 16 by 36. Also has a 16 by 18 porch. I
went to Chattanooga this morning a bought 3 bags of concrete stain. As the last
thing we did was spread the stain. I just didnt just want a blah concrete
floor. Well so far it looks pretty neat. Even the concrete guys liked the way it
looked. I used 3 colors

Im going to seal it in the morning. Im going to buy windows and a door
shortly. Will have a bathroom and a small stove and refrigerator also. Its a place
for friends to stay as well as a Gallery space for my pots.

Im hoping to have it ready for the Georgia Clay Council show thats going to
be here Dec 13 & 14.
come and check out my new space if any of you are going to be in the area. By
the way i found a new waterfall at Cloudland Canyon State Park. The waterfall
was new to me not the park.

I bought stain that were about 40 or 50 lbs a bag. I bought 2 reds , 2 tans ,
one black.
I returned one red and one tan. We only used 1/2 of each bag. Its the stain
that used to mix IN the concrete. We spread it after they used the big
trowlling machine. Its rough in some places, but it sure looks great. One of the guys
used a long float at the end and it smoothed some of the areas. We didnt want
to troweler it because it just mixed the stain in and it disapeared.

It looks great, i also used sealer . We used a 5 gal bucket , the total floor
is 16X 57 ft

the sealer is some really bad ass smelling stuff, have fans
