I use a screen I bought from the roll of brass screening at the
Orchard Supply and mounted in the bottom of a large plastic bowl.(
That is done by a fusing method described in the past.)
I can set the screen bowl in the mouth of a five gallon receiving bucket.
If the glaze is fairly thin if I pour it from a height of 2 or 3 feet
much of it goes through the screen into the receiving bucket. Most of
the action occurs while the screen bowl is fairly empty but it will
get full. Then dump the screen bowl with the glaze that did not go
through back into the supply bucket and do it again and again. You
can finish up with the brush method. This works a lot faster than
trying to brush it all through. I call it the waterfall method.
