I've used Laguna, Aardvark, and Amaco majolica glazes and each of them give a
consistently reliable and beautiful result. I always soak for about 30

After years of trying to address the pin holing problem on the OUTSIDE of
my bowls, Im giving up. Flat pieces, low plates etc .. all look
beautiful.....even inside the bowls are great.......but no mater how slow I bisque ^03 , or
glaze fire ^05, or how smooth the outside is( no "junk" exposed ) , My L.
Arbuckle glaze recipe...still pinholes...I have a shelf full of large thrown
Stans Red earthenware pots...that Im tired of ruining.. so can anyone suggest a
commercial glaze...that I can dip these big pots in and still use my mason
stains etc......Thanks JT

It is strange that the pin holing is on the outside only. Are you
SURE it is not a glaze application problem?
