are you wetting the bisque before applying glaze? (i rinse
then watch for visible water to vanish before glazing.
Failing to wet the bisque ahead of time makes all the
difference.
(i have one glaze which I use on greenware where I even wet
the greenware tile briefly before glazing. This particular
glaze is a rather stiff one and if there are pinholes
showing in the raw glaze, they will not heal over in firing.
The glaze is also hard and durable in the green stage so is
difficult to heal over pinholes with the finger.)

I recently used Laguna Majolica EM-2118.. found it fired
nicely at both cone 06 and 04. I used this on a painted
tile mural with Laguna white bisque 8 X 8s, which is not
my typical way of working. I tested some other formulas
which I mixed , but this one was the best.
However I bought it premixed/liquid and painted the glaze
on v. dipping it, so I don't know how it would behave in
dipping.. I found it to be very trouble free and used it in
conjunction with some Amaco majolica colors, some Duncan
Concepts colors and some of my own stains mixed with some
frit, Gerstley and CMC or gum arabic.
Commercial Liquid glazes have a lot of binder or gum in
them so they are kind of goopy and sticky compared to the
glazes I am use to mixing myself. I believe it is available
in dry form, though i do not know if it will solve your
particular problem.
