October 17 - 19 the Mayor will be in Summerfield, NC presenting a kiln conversion/kiln building workshop. This is a hands-on workshop, and will convert an electric kiln to electric/gas, and build a small flat-top kiln. Participants are invited to bring 2 bisque fired pieces made with ^10 clay (glazes provided) to fire in the new kiln.

Y'all really missed a great workshop with da mayor this weekend; he was in rare form. :) Participants were excellent too; it was really fun and we're REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY worn out. I will be posting pics of the conversion and the flat top, which has been named Melvina. ;)
