It sounds like your switch went out rather than the elements. Your kiln
will probably not get hot enough until you repair the kiln.

You can test the elements with an ohmmeter. If they are okay, and you
find no disconnected wires, then the switch is probably bad.

You are right! It was the switch, or rather the connectors to the switch.
They were corroded. My husband cleaned them and gave ti a try so we're back in
business. Thanks. That's was pretty astute of you!
