I'm posting this for someone else, so I don't have any
more information than this.
A gift shop in Zanesville, OH is discontinuing their
line of pottery, so they will be selling their kilns.
Apparently, they haven't had anyone there to make the
pottery and fire the kilns for some time,
consequently, the kilns have not been used very much
and are in good shape. They have two small kilns
available and either two or three larger kilns
available. I have *no* information on the larger
kilns.
Details as given to me on the two smaller kilns is as
follows:
1)
Duncan-Teacher Plus
Model DA 820-2
24 Amps, 240 Volts
Max temp: 2300 -- Cone 8
Inside measurements: 20" x 17 1/2"
Outside measurements: 31" x 27"
2)
Cress
Model FX23P
25 Amps, 220 volts
Max temp: 2400 -- Cone 10
Inside measurements: 24 1/2" x 17 1/2"
Outside measurements: 33" x 27"
Please contact the Mapletree shop at (740) 450-8818
for more information.

The Duncan kilns are no longer in production. However, Paragon sells
parts for the Duncan kilns through an arrangement made with Duncan in
1997.
