As I told my friend last night, I've gone from a dune buggy to a rolls =
with chauffer . I'm a bit lost, so am asking....

Ian from Tucker's just walked me through programming RR & JH schedule (I =
did it backwards, ramps and end temps reversed so DUH it didn't work). =
The kiln is clicking merrily away, wax burning off as usual. I have =
cones in all the peeps. =20

The questions are:

How do I override if necessary? Just press stop? What if I want to =
soak after pressing stop? Can I?

TIA

Read the section in the manual on skip step - I program a long soak - maybe
2 hours - watch the cone till it's right - then skip step to next ramp -
which should be the fast cool one - right.

Don't think it's wrong if it still look s like it's heating - just watch
the temperature - it's because the kiln is cooling so fast it thinks it has
to slow the cooling.

Call me if you need to talk - RR

To override a digital controller, just press Stop. Make a change in the
program, such as adding another segment, and press Start again. The
controller will continue firing, taking up where it left off before. You
might want to double-check your manual, but this would apply to most
controllers.

Also, some models have an "add time" feature that allows you to add time
to a soak without having to press Stop to make the change.
