a very full and fine trip it was.
i did a two day workshop with brenda beeley at `clayspace`
and the class was overfilled with bright, very talented folks.

it was a joy to meet betty claire and barry salaberry, also met
joe and elida o`brien who popped in to say hi. i stayed with one
of our favorite clayarters, gail bair and her husband john. they are
great people, gifted and creative. the ceramic arts are well and
alive on bainbridge island.

linda and paul hughes met me at the ferry dock and wisked me
to their home in seattle on sunday night. took care of me
until plane time on monday afternoon.

we met with `mr. smartypants` paul lewing, ken turner, ragnor
and other clay friends at `starbuck's` and we spent 4 hours
talking and telling stories. it was a great time...some new friends
names have spilled out of my busy head, but they are great folks,
full of life and full of clay enthusiasm.

again, i realize why i do clayart. it is the great people, that appreciate
and care for this venue. the great people who give and give and rarely take
anything away selfishly.
