Okay, so I have a glaze that when fired in smaller kilns results in a dark blue and when in larger kilns (both electric) the color is an icky army green. It's a variation of a glaze called Ocean Green. Has anyone worked with this glaze and had these results? Does anyone have any info. that might help me get the a better green? Could this color change be due to how quickly the small kilns heat and cool? thanks..

I have exactly this "problem" with a blue glaze I use. It's a stonking =
blue in my little top loader, but in my bigger front loader, only a few =
feet away, it's paler - nice but almost a different glaze. I've tried =
everything, it really is the speed of cooling. If I want that great blue =
I have to fire in the little kiln.
