Can someone please provide a definition for "beater kiln"?
Wayne,
Why... one for firing "beaters" in, of course. .
I think he is refering to a "junker" type kiln. A beat up marginally
functional unit that you don't mind having around so that you can abuse i=
t
without feeling like you are hurting anything...... cause it is in such b=
ad
shape to start with and you piad next to nothin' for it. =
Also see: "Duct Tape" and "WD-40".
best,

Laugh again!! I was first and now a description of Himself down
to a tee...
"A beat up marginally functional unit that you don't mind having
around so that you can abuse it
without feeling like you are hurting anything... cause it is in
such bad shape to start with and you paid next to nothin' for
it."
Janet Kaiser - still ugly, heavily used, and not functioning at
original optimum level, but still useful
for something (even if it is only debatable)
