formula for toilet bowl porcelain

I'm a librarian helping a potter with her question: What is a typical formula for the porcelain used for toilets particularly, and maybe sinks and bathtubs, too? We have some ideas from Bennett's Chemical Formulary 1935 and 1951, and I've been looking at the US Patent database under "sanitaryware", e.g. Patent No. 6,037,288. I've seen the ClayArt archives, but I don't know enough about the subject to know what to look for. Thanks for any advice or referral.
