No one is dumb no one is idiot! ---> the way to glazing
=================================
In order to clear the air I shall try to help people that find this
glazing too difficult.
I shall write some letters "articles" to the list in order to help the
glaze- unscholarly person that want to try and find his way in this
world of glazing.
My attitude is slightly different than Ron Roy's.
I agree with Ron that the interior of food serving food must be a
foodsafe glaze, I think that it is better, in any food serving food to
avoid poisonous materials in or out. As to decorative ware, you are much
freer.
I want to add here that I am not going to compete with any of you
English language gurus.
I shall offer you books and explain you why- you can offer too.
I shall direct you to sites (and tell you why).
Naturally on Saturday I have more time to write, but mainly it is depend
of the kiln's situation.
I will make a page, "album" as it is called - for this project.
I do in clayart because it is an open forum.
I will deal mainly in ^6 ox. I can give you some hints about raku, or
low fire- but I cannot test them. I am not doing reduction. In a
way my "limits" drove me to more discoveries.

The link to "The way to glazing" is

It is almost empty in this moment.
Of course I would like to hear the masters; "gurus" when ever I make a
mistake - I will surely have some from time to time!
