if you don't like fuss

ok i did the save it for 24 hours thing but I'm still annoyed so I'm
posting it anyway-

Wow- People occasionally say some really dumb stuff on this list , but
this
is about the dumbest, and most gratuitous I've read in a long while.
Couldn't even use the delete key 'cause the subject line was
inaccurate- it didn't say "Stupid, Pointless, Remarkably Ignorant
Criticism of a Really Great Potter by Somebody Who Truly Has No Idea
What Their Own Place in the Real World Is". If it had I would have
deleted it. You might be able to throw 12 x 6 (earthenware) cylinders
and lift em off the wheel head all day Malcolm, but the possibility
clearly exists that you wouldn't know a great pot if you accidentally
happened to make one.
I've seen Craig Martell's pots and I've seen Mick's pots--great pots --
and frequently cited as such by
observers and commentators likely far more qualified than you -- have I
somehow missed yours?
I googled you and all I got were cranky posts to other lists. Where can
I view the Malcolm Book?

And as for your disingenuous defense of your uncalled for remark about
Casson's work- no one from
the Leach Hamada whatever camp had made any attack whatsoever on you or
your "classical"
work before you spoke so definitively spoke out of turn. Lee is right.

Well, now I can add your name to the teeny proportion of respondents to
this list whose posts I never
read. That will. of course include any reply to this little exercise,
should there be one, so
blast away; or not--won't matter to me

cheers
