Lisa , I think if you have 12 cu ft kiln it has to be the 25in oval. If it is one of your problems is that kiln needs a 60 amp breaker to run properly. I had the same problem with mine. I let someone talk me into trying a 50 amp breaker, it was not a good thing. Mine would blow the houses main breaker because it was older and weaker then the new 50 amp. Just because the label says 48 amps it isn't written in stone, the kiln will perk at 52 amps .Change your breaker to 60 amps and check the new wiring to make sure everything is properly wired and that should take care of your problem.
