Mel...
I suggest you dust off your Viking garb.....
you're going to need it!!!
Now we need to be sure someone is there to
visually record the event for posterity!:-)

I have a "Hagar, the Horrible" hat, complete with horns that you can borrow,
Mel. But you have to get your own fur onesie to go with it.

Dear Mel,
When the door of the Clayart room opens with a sweeping Nordic wind, turning
the mugs on their sides and the smell of burnt ash startles your nostrils,
oh sorry, that would be me. Maybe half so dramatic, as I am just a half
bake Viking. Living it, swimming the fjord in January, but still a girl
from New York.

See you there, and very much looking forward to meeting the Clayarters who
are attending.
regards from Alisa in Denmark

The skies are leaden and the autumn has settled in.
Our mini Viking Helene is a true cast of her Viking father.
Daily twighlight fires on the beach before dinner at her
ring of rocks camp fire place. A lot of care is taken in searching
for the best rocks to make a fire place with. Like kids learn to swim
in Florida, kids in Denmark learn how to make a fire burn.
It is a wonderful time, all of it.
