Hi Wesley.
One thing you can do to ease the shock of putting a pot into the hot kiln is
to have a bunch of pieces of broken kiln shelf or slices of softbrick to put
under each pot when loading. I don't raku in my electric kiln, but I like to
take it really slow and easy with refires. Some forms - those with wide
rims- don't take too kindly to refiring.
