Hey Bruce and others who hate half splashpans,

Do what I do: Never clean up the scrap from your previous trimming jobs and
just let the mound grow in front of the wheel head. Now when the slip and
water go flying, it only makes it to the mound of trimmings and not the
garage wall. My Lockerbie is serving me quite well. Have just thrown
several large bowls--centered the 7 lbs of clay with the motor assist then
no touchy, sneaker power only. Man was the gobs of slip flying when I used
the electric at school (they don't have splash pans attached). Really
missed my mound of scrap.
