Hello Hal
One of the best books of glazing is "glaze Projects of Behrens. Some of
the material- in the book are not available today.
When you send an old recipe you must use the formula with new materials.
It is not enough to say it works for the people that have sent them!
The reason this kind of thing annoying me in the next story:
When I joined the electronic world I tested about 10 "free of charge"
recipes. They were all for ^03.
I wrote to the site manager. I was told that they were not responsible
to the recipes and the results ( My words).
These days when I am pretty known as a glaze addict, I have done new
tests to the same glazes in ^6. This time - using the software. I
explained the person why these glazes were actually high fire glazes and
I must say - these "evil recipes" were removed.
There is no reason to break the heart of new testers!
I shall see the analysis because the materials are not clear:

I am sure I can improve the suspension but it will take more work to do.
It looks interesting, kind of saturated CaO glaze at ^6 Probably not
stable because of the low Al:Si
Perhaps was made for lower cone. May be higher?
