how to bisque a ^6 claybody

Hello Tamara!
Very good question!
I bisque all my wares to 1000C ^06 in this temp I am able to smooth my
wares after the firing with a water sandpaper and there is a good
connection between the glaze and the ware. Ron Roy goes up to ^04. It
did not work for me.

ok.. so if a clay says cone 6.. how do I bisque fire it? is it ^06
bisque and THEN ^6 Glaze? or ^6 for both?? I'm in such a fog I can't
remember right now and my grandma got me all confused.
