I am putting together a pottery/ tile /sculpture sale
which will benefit
a local potter who 's home and studio burned to the ground
on Sunday.
He is left with only his vehicle and the clothing he was
wearing at the time and did not have time to pack anything.
I am waiting to hear news about others in the locale, but I
talked with a few folks and we want to do this .
Laird Plumleigh will open the studio and parking lot
adjacent to Alchemie Studio on Saturday December 6.
We will have a pottery sale open to the public and possibly
a potluck.
I will have more details later for people who want to attend
the sale, and be getting the word out locally
after the county gets through the immediate crisis of this
fire.
I want to keep personal information confidential for a few
days as well
All proceeds will go directly to this person in need
If you would like to donate anything at all, a bowl,
plate, mug , anything which could be sold,
1. please send it via UPS or FEDEX ground
2. Please put the sale price on it .. affixed with a
sticker if possible, also nice to include a card or
information about the maker
