Hello Darlene
Lasse =D6stmans in his analysis page
http://www.barra.se/stoneware/glasyrer/analyses.htm
writes that he does not know the analysis of this glaze.
The recipe from his site:
"CR729 Very reddish brown, semi matt with darker spots=20
Rather thick or it will be no spots. 1260-1280oC with one hour at the
top temperature. One of the most red glazes I know based on ferric oxide
in oxidation. You can try other simple boric frits with not too low
maturing temperature instead of G-3.=20
=20
feldspar NGP 37,22=20
bone ash 12,41=20
talc 8,68=20
petalite 12,41=20
quartz (flint) 9,93=20
ball clay 7,44=20
red ferric oxide 6,95=20
borax frit MOK G-3 4,96=20
.... Is telling us that this is a bone ash - lithium matte red. The
frit is the smallest problem in this glaze.=20
You better read about this kind of glaze in Mike Bailey's ^ 6 glazes
book before starting to test it. As for me the glaze addict it is a
dream I cannot reach.
