One thing you might consider are "Self Glazing Clay Bodies", one of =
those topics little is written about. Nothing I see in Hamer about this =
one.
I suppose this is an offshoot of Egyptian Paste where almost the =
opposite of what I said will happen, dissolved salts coming to the =
surface as moisture is transported to evaporate away.
Another thought is to spray soluble salts on the surface and do a single =
firing.
