a month or so ago someone posted an announcement asking about places to =
purchase clay in arkansas because a friend of theirs had just moved here =
from Las Vegas (Culture Shock!). Well I e-mailed Burt and he piggy =
backed on my last clay order so I got a chance to meet him. I can't =
remember who wrote the post but I am glad you did. Burt and his wife =
are lovely people!

Hello all,
This is some info for all you (ya'll) Arkansas clay people. There is a new company in Little Rock that will be selling a variety of ceramic materials including: Clay, Slip, Fusible Art Glass, Glazes, Metal finishing Kit (?) Skutt Kilns, Kiln Furniture etc... The company is called Brush Mountain Ceramics, Inc. and last week was their first week in operation of this new venture. A husband and wife team; he does clay, she does glass. I spoke with her, and she seems great, was interested in what else we as potters might need.
Their phone is 501-565-1300, Fax- 501-565-0465. They are located at 6619 Woodson Road, Suite A. I haven't made it to the store yet, but am excited to go meet them and see their set up.
Hope this info helps anyone who is needing to order clay/materials here in Arkansas.
