Hi!
I just wanted to thank those of you who reccomended the company Harbor
Freight. A few weeks ago, when it was first mentioned, that I took
notice, I went to the website and signed up for a catalog. We are
nowhere near a reasonable driving distance. :(
Well, last night my husband comes in with the mail... And spends an
hour, licking his lips and ooohing and ahhing over various things in
that catalog. I swear his eyes glowed like a kid looking at a Toys R Us
catalog. He goes, "how did they find us honey? It came addressed to
the studio".... I said casually, "oh? From Harbor Freight... Oh yeah."
Their prices seem awesome... One was a diamond bit, we needed to by to
cut ceramic tiles we had bought for our bathroom. We got one for the
dremmel for $20. They had about 5 or 9 of them in a set for $10 in the
catalog. The heater for the kilnroom... We could have saved ourself
$200 anyway if only we had known about Harbour Freight.

Who is still gigling at the thought of 6 people soaking in a
jaccuzigamma and getting the shock of their lives... Cheese and wine
glasses flying..... "Chestnuts roasting over an open
fire...."

Hello list
I requested a catalog after the first mention of Harbor Freight and
before it came I noticed one opening up across town. I live in what used to be
considered the country and this is on the far side of the city by the airport.
I am not familiar with this area so I called for directions and they said
they don't always carry everything in the catalog but they did have the sprayer
and would give me an extra 10% for my trouble and match the price listed at
the website (there was a sale on).
My husband said he would ride along. Well, it might have been a shoe
sale at a trendy downtown department store! Hubby spent more money than I did
and I got some pretty good deals. I have never seen so many men shopping at
the same time in the same place.
I have given it as a gift to my son and recommended it to several
people including my last university ceramics department. It is one of the best
things I use in terms of glaze spaying. Cleaning the small air brush in
comparison is a lot more trouble. Occasionally they go on sale for 69.99. I believe
a second gun can be ordered for around 25.00. It was a very worthwhile
investment. Dawn (Menomonee Falls, Wi.)
