Tony,
Fear not. A good strong string of garlic
in the window, and any music from the
70's is sure to repel Griffins.
Failing that, they hate that sticky stuff that
one puts out to dissuade birds from
roosting... what is it?..."TangleFoot"
comes to mind. Keeps them off
the windowsills anyway.
Nothing worse than cleaning up Griffin poop!
Best Regards,
Wayne Seidl

It was with horror that I read that David still makes oil lamps and tea
lights. It has been 15 years since we made them. Firstly it was paying for
a $600 refinishing job of a customers oak table because of a leaky oil lamp
and then the final straw was a customer that said she had a candle light
dinner and afterwards they discovered their noses were all black. In spite
of our directions to keep the wick low they drank a wee dram or two of
single malt and in the romance of the moment had the wick burning a little
on the rich side of carbon. In spite of them being a hot seller one and a
half decades ago i wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.
These babies are a lawsuit waiting to happen. If you have to, make a saucer
for under them and prepare a video on how to trim and maintain the wick.
David, if ya have to make a run for it, there is a candle burning for ya in
my window in Canada.
cheers,
Tony
