Visiting the Netherlands soon?
In Leeuwarden, Friesland, the Netherlands is a white porcelain exhibition. Until
the 28th of December.
The exhibition is at the St Josephgalerie. At their website www.sjgalerie.nl you
can read more about it.
Potters from a lot of countries have work displayed there: Austria, Australia,
Hungary, Germany, Great Britain etcetera. Especially loved the work of Daniel
Fisher, Sandra Black, Horst Goebbels, Barbara van Rheeden and Arne Ase.
AND the beautiful Maggie Barnes objects.
Leeuwarden also has THE Dutch ceramic museum Het Princessehof. It is partly
closed now because of rebuilding but still worth a visit.
