I have a clay mixing area that has a plaster bottom to speed up drying. It
has stuccoed brick sides about a foot and a half to 2 ft. deep. The plaster
is about 35 years old and has started to really deterioerate. I have tried
patching it but that doesn't really fix the problem. I think it has been
freezing in cold weather. Would concreet work of what kind of plaster would
be best to redo the whole thing? I use it to Mix about 2 tons of clay at a
time in a slurry. I work in a Historic village so It can not look modern. I
have thought of replacing the plaster with unmortered red brick.Any Ideas
would be appreciated.
