Hello Ron and Linda and ClayArters too!
The sad point is that my kiln has to be fixed.
The good point is that it has stopped in 1068C therefore we know what
happens around ^04.
The fire might have been even slower than the way I have written in my
earlier letter.
I knew something wrong with my kiln therefore I was in the studio during
the 1000C and high.
I made this glaze thick applied twice on a piece of raw paperclay.
Only the bottom was unglazed

When my kiln will be repaired I shall fire it to ^6 and will upload it
again
By the way, Ron. Your gloss liner my version started to be glossy.
Because it was on a child's work I did not test it farther.

Subject: Single-paper-clay-glazing-answer to Ron
Hi Ababi,
Thanks for this - you should turn off HTML - turn on plain text by the
way.
Both glazes have little boron.
Remember what I said - to the question - any problems single firing
glazes
on paper clay to cone 6?
I said - could be with high boron glazes because they seal over faster
and
if the carbon is not gone it will be a mess.
If to cone 04 then it will be more difficult.
