Hello All
Am getting out personal letters to those who contributed by weeks end...
but I wanted to let all of you know how the fire benefit went. We
raised $2078 for Gayle and Hans and also a contribution to James Hubbell.
We had a beautiful day for the sale. We had a steady stream of folks
coming through, which I wasa thankful for, considering the busy time of
year, the number of events competing for people's time, and the short
notice.
One CLAYART member sent a nice donation and I did a bit of shopping for
him, so some CLAYART pots are making their way to a CLAYART member in
another part of the country. The CLAYART pots were beautiful. Most sold.
there are few that did not. I have put up a display for them, and as
they sell will send the remaining proceeds to Craft Emergency Relief
Fund, which does good work for disaster relief for artists and craftsmen
nationwide.
Gayle and Hans are very appreciative as they approach the daunting task
of starting over in each of their situations.
I want to thank the groups and individuals who helped.
