Hi Ivor,

Might have been some of a stolen load...a hijacked load or
whatever...brokered favorably at some phase with whatever
pretext or appearance...

That is a big help too for having them low Low LOW 'prices'
at some retail end.

If they carried them all the time, I'd wonder about some
other provenance.

Too, the attribution of 'Italy' tells us nothing.

One ( red 'china' for one,) is happy to put whatever origin
you pay for on the stamp or label.

The other day I saw a label on a more or less wood dineing
table..."Heche en China"

'Heche' indeed...

Love,
Phil

Dear Friends,

The whole economic structure of World Trade seems to me to
be approaching a state of chaos.

Yesterday Olive asked that we visit a local Garden Centre,
just a small one, no connections with WalMart, Harbour
Freight, Woollies, Big K or any of the other discount
giants. They had good solid Terra Cotta Planters 35 cm dia
offered for a retail price of $5.00 Au, about $3.60 Us. or
ŁUK 2.10. It would not be possible for me to get the clay at
that price, even buying by the ton. Place of manufacture the
P R C? Taiwan ? Philippines? Malaysia? No. the E.U
community, Italy to be precise.

Now I think there is a term "Dumping" where excess stock is
floated around the globe to wherever it may rest at the best
possible price.

Any other thoughts on this one?

Best regards,

Ivor Lewis. Redhill, South Australia
