Glaze-derrick

It is! All 12 quare feet of it !!(LOL)...nice to see someone so close.

Being a novice indian artifact collector, my heart almost stopped when I
saw the name of your hometown....Your area is quite rich in history being
located right between the Mississippi and the Big Sunflower.
Rescuing exposed indian pottery and arrowheads in plowed fields during my
childhood was what sparked my interest in pottery to begin with.
We are very lucky to live in such a rural untouched area.

We are about to begin the task of hauling out our own local clay for some
test from a deposit used by Dentville, MS indians for MANY hundreds of
years.(Probably ALOT longer).
It's located on the Bayou Pierre River. Beautiful spot!
I think it'll be neat to see some pieces made from the same deposit as the
ancient shards I've collected over the years.
ok, now I'm rambling.

If you are ever close to Jackson, drop us an email and we'll plan a raku
firing and a pot of coffee.

Take care.
