rr black crawling - the fixes!!!!

Thanks to everyone who wrote in about the problems they were having with
our licorice glaze - and also to those who let us know they were not having
problems. I wish I knew the answer to why it happens to some and not others
- must be the water - what the hell else could it be? Moisture in the air?

Anyway I have sent fixes to all who asked - I think - let me know if I
missed you.

I have sent the 3 recipes to John and he will put them up on our web site.

If you are calcining EPK - don't forget to do it in an unglazed bowl - I
would think in a bisque firing to make sure the mass of clay got heated all
the way through - a shallow dish would be a better way.

Let us know how they work for you - please!
