long lines/off computer screen

updated sun 28 dec 03

it is very difficult for folks to remember
that short lines, use your enter key often,
makes for a better clayart post.
if you go way out to the end, some folks
cannot see it on their screens.

so, keep your lines short. like this,
and use your enter key often.

this is not themes in 11th grade.
(joyce will correct them.)
keep it to the point, short lines, and
under 50 pages of blather.

janet and phil get excused...if you
have not figured out that they can go
on and on, well then you have not read
them. it is called `narrative`. and they
do love it. phil has set a new state record
for clayart posts...895 pages, written in
12 minutes. and, he did not once mention
the `black government helicopters coming
to get us once.`

janet had one 254 pages, written over two
days. she thought it was a short post.

but, they do love us, and love to write.
and, that is just fine.

you can all pick and choose what you want
to read. the delete button is always right
there, at your right finger.
paint it red/write the word ass on it, and you
'will feel much better when you whack it.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Hear that, Phil? It has now been officially
correlated by the mayor... Yours is always quicker and longer
than mine!?! LOL

Mel, darling... You can also set up your e-mail to "wrap" text at
fewer characters than the 76 which is the default value in
Outlook (or whatever the e-mail client you are using has set).

I do not hit carriage return except at the end of paragraphs
because it is just no fun anymore. No ping! or brrrrrrrrrrrring!
Mind you, it is now possible to type without fear of dislocating
my fingertips or causing serious pain or injury. Could not
believe how difficult typing on an old timer typewriter was when
I tried the other day. A portable war-time model... Just the sort
of thing to send Phil into raptures. Used to zip stuff off it by
the ream. All my thesis was typed/retyped on it. No way could I
even type a line these days. Ho! Hum!

BTW I know of several who filter mail from people they have
decided they don`t like. I am not sure how they decide, because
even certified congenital idiots have valid points to make from
time to time. What was it... How does the saying go? Fill a room
with monkeys, give them a typewriter and in X time they will turn
out the equivalent of a Shakespearean play?

Two days ain't enough time... I need to practice... So does
Phil... But at LEAST WE MADE A START!!!!

ROTFL
