Just thought I would mention, if you are handling bones to know what their history is because anthrax can exist in a cow bone for over 500 years. Some people have these carved cow skulls in their living rooms and have now idea of where they came from. More than likely there won't be any problem, but they just had an anthrax outbreak in Russia due to anthrax cattle graves. As the process of producing Bone Ash involves calcining and at a fairly
high temperature as well, are we not getting our collective knickers in
a twist over this contamination issue?
