canopy available -- is potterbarter down?

updated sun 4 jan 04

Hi all --

Does anyone know if the Potterbarter list on Yahoo
Groups is down? I tried to post this morning about
the canopy I have available and my message still
hasn't appeared over ten hours later. No new messages
at all have been posted for the past couple of days
even though the usual rate of postings is several a
day, which seems a bit odd. Are postings listed
automatically by the listserv or does it need to be
done manually by a moderator (or listowner)?

I'm hoping someone here knows the story -- I know the
listowner for Potterbarter participates on this board,
but, if she's not around, perhaps someone else might
know? I don't want my message to end up with multiple
postings, so I haven't tried sending it again.

Thanks for any info.

Since that list appears to be down for the time-being
anyway, here's the info on the canopy available:

*****

Folding canopy -- 10 X 10, New, never used, still in
box. Can be set up by one person, like EZ-up.
Adjustable heights. Price new: $150. Available for
$100 plus shipping (UPS Ground) from VA. Weighs 50
lbs.

Money order or checks only, NO Paypal.

Sue, welcome to the Yahoo Zone (think of the Twilight Zone music here). A
mysterious place where emails disappear into the Yahoo Zone!

Potterbarter is a MODERATED Yahoo group, which means all new messages have
to go through Kelly for approval before being posted to the list at large.
As you may have read, Kelly is a busy person (3 or 4 kids, homeschooling,
gardening, living), and therefore may not get around to putting up your
posting immediately, or even for a few days. Be patient, and your message
will appear, assuming it's appropriate.
