Hi Judy,
I think the best camera going for what you want is the
Minolta Dimage XT.
They cost between $220-250 US Dollars.
It is the thinnest digital camera I have seen=85if fits
easily into a pants or shirt pocket. Most of the other
digitals are still a bit too puffy/bulky to do what this one
does.
It is 3.2 megapixels=85 Good for web work and printing small
to medium pictures. It has the fastest startup time of any
of the small digital cameras. It comes with a cable that
lets you plug it directly into a tv for instant viewing of
your pictures.
You can also set the camera on a mini tripod=85plug it into
the tv, and then you could do a demonstration under the
camera and have it show up on the tv.
The recharger is a breeze to use, you just set the camera on
it.
To shoot really nice pictures indoors, of the kids in my
classroom and my family I use the following settings=85
Sensitivity ISO 400
Exp Comp. +0.3
Flash off
(These settings weren=92t in the manual, they just are the
ones I found work well for me)
