Susan -
As soon as I saw your question I did a websearch, and there is plenty of
information available, including lots of images. You can see images of
current work at

Ron Meyers is one of the best potters of the late 20th and early 21st
centuries. He does loose, expressive, gestural work, with wonderful incised
and slip-painted imagery. He has an excellent reputation as a workshop
presenter. We have had him present workshops at the Craft Center several
times, and they are always among the first to fill. Anyone who has the
opportunity to take a workshop from Ron and/or purchase some of his pots
should not pass up the opportunity.
I think that Ron is an especially good example of "soft clay on a slow
wheel" - the approach to throwing which yields gestural pots revealing the
movements and personality of the maker.
Best wishes -
- Vince

I agree with Vince. Ron Meyers is a great workshop presenter. He's a great
guy and fun, too. I went to a workshop he gave more than 5 years ago in
Baltimore. I had a blast and learned a great deal. I would not hesitate to go to
another workshop he presented.

Hi Susan: I've attended several workshops with Ron Meyers and found them to
be informative and helpful. If he has another one in my area, I certainly
will make every effort to attend. In addition, his work is quite lovely and
professional. Go and have a good time.....Mildred Herot
