Larry's site has been down for about a year, though this is the first time
the url has brought up a porn site. Larry shut down Little Creek Pottery and
moved to Idaho to be near his and his wife's parents. His intent was to
continue making pottery up there and take care of thier parents. A couple of
months ago I inquired, through a friend, as to how he was doing. She was
told that he had cancer and wasn't doing well. I can't vouch for the
information personally other than to say it came from a fellow potter of
his in New Mexico who he worked with and considered a friend.
I was saddened by the news. I discovered Larry's work while in White
Mountain Pottery, which is where the above info comes from, in Ruidoso. I
told Tim, the owner and fellow potter, that it had an earthy look that made
it seem like it was dug up out of the ground and comes from some past time.
I was actually asked if I was a potter because only other potters seem to
like his work. I said "No, I am not a potter but I do like his work". I
drove out to see Larry's place and more of his work. He took the time to
show me around and discuss his work and pottery in general. A few months
later I wrote to let him know I was taking my first continueing education
class in pottery because of his work. I thought he would like to know.
Below is another link to a gallery that has some of his work.

Helen,
Can you elaborate a little? How does a website get
"hijacked"? Do you mean Larry let his registration for his site
lapse and these other folks bought it? If it is actually "hijacked",
which I understand to mean "taken illegally", Larry needs to contact his
site resgistry. I'm pretty sure these things can be dealt with by the
company through legal means.
