My first one did that, and I had to exchange it. I would suggest that people=
=20
buy them locally since two people now have had that experience. My replaceme=
nt=20
still slows down at centering, but I don't center at high speeds. When it's=20
up to speed I'm not sure it would happen. It slows down very evenly and did=20=
not=20
throw the clay out of round. I have found it very satisfactory for throwing=20
small to medium sized pieces. If I were going to throw a really big piece I=20
would do it at the studio where I take lessons anyway, so its upper limits a=
ren't=20
an issue for me.

I like it. It's very quiet.
