Hey Gretchen,
I have an ancient Paragon (22+ years) which is a ^8 but I only fire to =
^6. I recently purchased a portable TNF-2 controller from Paragon. It =
works really well and gives me the ability to ramp, soak, and slow cool =
which I desired. I didn't have the money for a new kiln at the time so =
the potable controller was the way to go for me. The prices range from =
around $600 to almost $800 depending on your kiln type. I have space =
for a second kiln and a dual venting system already installed so when =
the market cranks up again I will be ready for that new computerized =
kiln. Until that time I really like the idea of breathing new life into =
that old kiln.
