Bingo ..!!! I've found this amazing ceramic salamanca made in Cusco and for sale on e-bay..
The base is actually the mouth of the vessel and the small spout is on the side. This is a gorgeous piece. !!!
The originals can be traced to the Mochicas, Chimus and Incas.
