Stephanie, if you have a friend who's a ham operator,
that's one great way to find out. Or it used to be.
Another way is to contact someone in the US State
Dept who might know people stationed in CR.
If you're on your way there you are indeed lucky, we
think, especially if you like birds and flowers.
Years ago we knew a State Dept retiree who lived
there. He wangled a job as their director of
tourism. He's gone now, but look for people like
that.
