Howdy, folks,
I just noticed that the highly-touted darling of glaze sprayers
everywhere is on sale at Harbor Freight (again) for $70. I don't
know how often it's on sale, for how much longer it will be at this
price, or just how good it really is.
Oh, all right, here's the web page's description:
Comes with a built-in self contained electric turbine compressor
which creates and amplifies the air flow. High volume low pressure
spray guns get better transfer efficency and less over spray -
resulting in a 40% material savings. Ideal for jobs where spray
control is especially critical adjustable spray patterns: vertical,
horizontal, and circular. Sprays light, medium and heavy stain,
varnish, and latex.
89% transfer efficiency
15 ft. PVC hose
1 qt. cup capacity
Compressor: 110VAC, 60 Hz, 9.85 amps
Air inlet size: 1.137''
Nozzle size; 0.70''
A scan of the archives will reveal many raves for it, even at its
normal $100 price.

Nicely outside of Chicago
Things should be made as simple as possible, but not any simpler :

I have one. It works great--wish there was a little bit better control for
spraying smaller things but I have really no real complaints. For the money,
its a very good sprayer. Very little overspray and acceptable even coating.
I bought another head and 3 more canisters so I don't have to switch so much
between glazes. Works out pretty nice.
Thank you.
