This is true with the earliest controllers.

Some controllers have a controlled cooling option as part of the Cone-Fire
mode. However, most controllers that don't have this feature can control the
cooling rate in Ramp-Hold mode (though not in Cone-Fire).

Choose a lower target temperature for the cooling segment. The controller
should automatically cool down at the rate you specify.
