I have been whining lately about my HP computer so I went to Sam's to see
about their satisfaction-guaranteed policy. I had bought the thing in September
and I was just wondering if they would make it right......I did not have my
receipt, nor the boxes, etc......
I walked in Saturday night with little more than my credit card statement and
told them I wasn't satisfied with the purchase. They didn't ask why, or for
any justification or anything. They just told me that they would ask for an
authorization number from their office and I could bring it back in 24 hours.
I was amazed and took a wait and see attitude. Yesterday, I put everything
in an old cardboard box and took it back. In five minutes, I had my money and
went picked out another computer. They didn't look in the box or anything.
I bought the new computer at Sam's! I checked the other Super Stores and Mom
and Pop stores in the area and all have 15 to 20 day return policies. The
people at Sam's didn't even ask me if I even knew how to use a computer or if I
had abused it, etc. I am still flabbergasted....
