It is also possible that you have the same problem I had--dry rot of the glue
that holds the magnets in place inside the motor. If you moved the wheel
during that time, a magnet may have fallen off inside the motor. If you know how
to open up your motor (carefullly!!!!), you would be able to see the magnet
mislocated to another part of the motor than where it is intended to be. You
can re-glue the magnet if that is the case, but it's pretty tricky, and once it
starts, they may all want to fall off.
