In my opinion, and I am an electric firer, the master of it all is =
Emmanuel Cooper. Not only does he himself work with electric kilns but =
he has written a number of books on glaze all of which give good =
coverage of electric firing. I would start with his Electric Kiln =
Pottery. Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge his books are OP =
and one can only get them in the used book market. =20

John and Ron's book and Glaze Master are wonderful, but do not =
cover--nor intended to--the from the grounds up approach.

I also cherish and recommend Harry Fraser's two books. Both Glazes for =
the Craft Potter and Ceramic Glaze Faults are wonderful basic books. I =
also suggest Michael Bailey's book, Glazes Cone 6. It is different from =
RonJohn's book and they complement each other.
