Ok this is WAY off topic, but....last spring our hens (bantams) hatched =
out 7 eggs. We THOUGHT that 4 were hens, one died, and the other two =
were roosters, so we gave away 2 of the hens and two of the roosters. =
Now it turns out one of the "hens" is a rooster, and he is the sweetest =
thing you've ever seen, but very lonely. He is bigger than all the =
other chickens (his egg came from elsewhere...) and the "main" rooster =
keeps him away from the other hens. I need a hen or two that are his =
size that I can put in with him for company. He is only 7 months old. =
I'm near Greensboro, NC, and will be happy to pick up if you have a hen =
you'd like to donate or trade for handmade soap. :) =20
OR, if you need a rooster for your hens (but NOT for eating; he's too =
nice), I'd consider that too.
